Magic 102.9 FM is a private commcercial radio station based in the city of Aba, Abia State, Nigeria. It is promoted by Saturn Communications Limited (RC:403261), a limited liability company, incorporated in 2001.

Saturn, which is trading as Magic FM, licensed by the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, in 2012, to broadcast in Aba and environs, became the first private radio station in the sprawling commercial city in Abia State with a clear reach in Rivers, Imo, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Enugu States and Cameroon.

The station began full commercial broadcast on May 15, 2013, and with NBC’s policy on transition to digital technology, became fully automated immediately. By deploying the latest broadcast technologies, Magic FM brought to listeners, quality programming from Talk, Music, Sports, News, Politics and Entertainment. Additionally, Magic FM took advantage of reliable ICT infrastructure from the onset, thereby building a large, active local and diaspora audiences on the internet, thereby exposing especially Nigerians of South East and South South extraction to direct information from home real time.

Magic FM’s 24-hour streaming on the internet has equally penetrated the other regions of Nigeria, with massive followership via our website or on other social media platform.
